The Black Princesses of Ghana are on the verge of another World Cup appearance after defeating Ethiopia in the first leg of the final round of qualifiers.
The Ghana U20 team recorded a 3-0 victory in Addis Ababa to ensure they are in charge ahead of the second leg in a fortnight time.
In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the players and technical team are seen celebrating the victory.
Ghana got off to a good start in Addis Ababa when Salamatu Abulai broke the deadlock at the half hour mark. The striker then doubled the lead eight minutes later.
Just before half time, Cecilia Nyama made it 3-0, and the Black Princesses held on to the lead, ensuring the second leg becomes an easier task.
Ghana has been to the last five FIFA U20 Women's World Cup, and an aggregate win against Ethiopia will make it six consecutive appearances.
The FIFA U20 Women's World Cup will be held in Costa Rica in August this year.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the female U20 team of Ghana, the Black Princesses are hoping to finish off their World Cup qualifiers in grand style by beating Ethiopia.
The team led by Coach Ben Fokuo left Accra on Friday to Addis Ababa for the final round of qualifier against East Africans.
