Team News, Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp might be tempted to rest a number of his key stars for the game, although he has received some injury boosts ahead of the clash.

Thiago Alcantara and Roberto Firmino both missed the first leg through different injuries, but the duo participated in full training on Sunday, March 6.

“So, Thiago was only a week out, probably will be fine but we have to wait for it. Joel was only three or four days I think, so he is fine, I would say. Klopp told reporters.
“With Bobby, it was longer out, it was [his] first session, so we have to see if we have to stress that or if it makes probably sense to give him just a few more days with proper training.

Diogo Jota has been able to shake off a recent ankle issue and should be in like to make a start.

Here is the predicted Liverpool XI to play Inter tonight:

Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Jota, Diaz.

Team News, Inter Milan

Inter boss Simeone Inzaghi recently confirmed that he has a near-full squad to choose from for the Liverpool game.

The only notable absentees for Inter are Nicolo Barella, who is out through suspension, and Aleksandar Kolarov who is absent from the Champions League squad altogether.

Joaquin Correa and Robin Gosens are back to full fitness and could be included in the matchday squad tonight.

Here is Inter’s predicted line up to face Liverpool:

Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Denzel Dumfries, Arturo Vidal, Marcelo Brozovic, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ivan Perisic; Edin Dzeko, Lautaro Martinez.

“Everton needs fixing”

On the other side of Merseyside, Everton manager Frank Lampard was the first to admit that his team needed fixing after a 5-0 mauling by Tottenham Hotspur.

Two goals from Harry Kane and a goal each from Son Heung-min, Sergio Reguilon, and an own goal from Micheal Keane condemned Frank Lampard's biggest defeat as Everton manager.

According to the Mirror, Lampard blamed the reaction of his players for not being good enough after conceding against Spurs.
