Sulley Muntari's fine displays in the Ghana Premier League has courted the attention of many with same saying he deserves a place in the Black Stars squad for the double header against Nigeria later this month.
According to reports in the Ghanaian media, the technical team is pondering over including the ex-AC Milan star in the team because of his experience.
Ghanaian football fans took to social media to share their opinion with some disagreeing with his return while others believe he will play a key role if the country is to beat Nigeria.
Sulley Muntari last played for the Black Stars at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014, and was later sent home from camp following misconduct.

"It seems those against his call are either jealous or doesn’t understand football. Sulley had been playing 65-70 minutes of official football matches with impact so what is wrong if he is called to the black stars as an experience player? Milla Roger and Ahmed Osam comes to mind," wrote Nyame Akwa in reaction to a publication by Ghana Soccernet.

Osikani Abrante writes: "Ah what is wrong with us? Sulley is a good player no doubt but is he better than other midfield options. Man comes in and plays two or three good games and all of a sudden he is good for the black stars. SMH. we are not serious as a country if this happens."

Ghanaian football administrator call for inclusion of Sulley Muntari in squad to face Nigeria
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Administrative Manager of the Ghana League Clubs Association, Mr Oduro Nyarko says Sulley Muntari needs to be in the Black Stars team for the World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
Ghana hosts the Super Eagles on March 25, 2022 in the first-leg in Cape Coast before traveling to Abuja for the second leg in four days time.
Ahead of the crucial encounter, Mr Oduro Nyarko, who has been impressed with Muntari's display in the domestic league is urging the technical team to invite the veteran midfielder.
