Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu is injured at Southampton and had to forfeit their game against West Ham in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Wednesday evening.
According to the club's head coach, Ralph Hasenhuttl, Salisu suffered a hamstring injury and missed out on their 3-1 victory over the Hammers at the Saint Mary's Stadium.
"We have problems with Sali [Mohammed Salisu] with his hamstring and Moi [Elyounoussi] with his heel," Hasenhuttl addressed the injury situation in today's press conference.
Salisu's return is not clear yet but the club is confident that the towering centre-back will not be on the sidelines for a long period.

FootballThe 22-year-old is however expected to recover in time to play a big role in the World Cup playoff as Ghana will host their perennial rivals Nigeria on March 25 in Cape Coast before heading to Abuja four days later for the return fixture.
Salisu has been one of the best performing stars for Southampton this season. He has made 27 appearances in all competitions so far for Saints.
Forging a strong partnership at the back in recent weeks with Jan Bednarek, Salisu has made 58 interceptions in the Premier League so far, the most by any player.
The defender has also made 57 tackles and he is ranked 7th on the chat of players with the most tackles.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has revealed Black Stars gaffer Otto Addo is in touch with Mohammed Salisu ahead of the all-important clash with Nigeria.
