French-born Ghanaian centre half Alexander Djiku expressed his frustrations after Strasbourg shared the spoils with Nice at the Stade de la Meinau but was quick to draw positives in the results.

Djiku's Strasbourg, who are chasing Champions League football went into the game on the back of a pulsating four-goal thriller against St Etienne.

Despite huffing and puffing, the Blue and Whites failed to find a breakthrough after Nice had suffered two red cards in the game.

The 27-year-old guardsman, who has played an instrumental role in Strasbourg's European charge, took to Twitter to express his frustration after his side failed to record a win at home.

He has made 19 appearances for Strasbourg in the current campaign, starting 69% of the total number of matches he has played.

Meanwhile, Black Stars utility player Jeffrey Schlupp scored a goal for Crystal Palace in their 1-1 draw with Burnley at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.

The 29-year-old Ghanaian needed only nine minutes to score the game's opening goal and give his side an early lead only for Luka Milivojevic to score an own goal as the game ended even.

It was a dominant performance by the home side and would count themselves unlucky to have drawn the game against a resurgent Burnley.

The Black Stars attacker is having a splendid season for St Pauli having scored seven goals and contributing with nine assists in the German second tier.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that French-born Ghanaian defender, Alexander Djiku believes Black Stars teammate Kamaldeen Sulemana has the potential of becoming one of the best players in football.

Sulemana, who turned 20 on Tuesday, has been in scintillating form since joining French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais in the summer transfer window.

Djiku has played with and against Sulemana and has found a lot of similarities between the winger and Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin.
