Liverpool will have an almost fully fit squad when they take on Leeds United in a rearranged fixture on Wednesday, February 23.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will be looking to close the gap at the top of the table to three points as they play a game that was to take place in Boxing Day 2021 but was postponed due to COVID-19.
The Reds come into the game at the back of an emphatic 3-1 victory over struggling Norwich City, and are heavy favourites to win the game.
Team News
Despite having a string of superstars to choose from, Jurgen Klopp is certain to be without Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota, as both players are struggling with injuries.
While Klopp was unwilling to rule the pair out of the Carabao Cup semi final against Chelsea, he admitted it was not looking too good for the pair.
"No for tomorrow, no chance," Klopp said ahead of the Leeds clash. "For the final, we will see. I really don't know in the moment.
"It would be easy to now say no but we will see. They are pushing but they were not on the pitch for training so that is not a good sign.
"I would love to have Bobby and Diogo available. That will not happen for tomorrow night. It is like it is."
Trent Alexander Arnold was rested over the weekend and is expected to start, while Andy Robertson is also expected to make a return.
