Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa vowed that he and his teammates will go all out against the Black Stars when they take on Ghana at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 23.
Nigeria and Ghana battle for a World Cup spot and it is winner takes all after the two-legged affair, and the return leg is billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on March 27.
Both countries are arch-rivals when it comes to football and Musa admits that the Black Stars are also aiming to qualify for the showpiece in Qatar.
The former CSKA Moscow forward who is in sparkling form for Turkish club Fatih Karamguruk stated that he wants to experience the World Cup again, admitting that a good number of the present crop of players in the squad haven’t been there.
He said in a statement by the NFF:
“The FIFA World Cup is the biggest football tournament in the world, and every player wants to feature there.
“A good number of the players in the team now have not been there, and the few of us that have been there want to experience it again. We just want the NFF to help us get enough fans into the Abuja Stadium for the second leg.
“We will go to Ghana and dig our feet and ensure we get a result. We must admit that Ghana also want to qualify and they have a strong team. The return leg will be crucial and we are ready for the battle, but we want our fans to be in there cheering us on.”

Musa helps Fatih Karagumruk to Turkish Cup quarterfinal
Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa was on the score-sheet helping Fatih Karagumruk to a 5-4 win over Konyaspor on Tuesday evening.
The Nigerian international was named in the Black Red’s starting line-up against the Anatolian Eagle, a match that ended in a nine-goal thriller after it stretched into extra time.
It was Musa’s second game since he returned to Turkey after Nigeria’s ouster at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations and he justified his inclusion.
