Michael Olunga is showing no signs of slowing down as he struck another brace for Al Duhail on Wednesday, February 9, as his side demolished Al Shamal 4-1.
The Kenyan star is currently in the best form of his life as he is currently topping the goalscorers charts in the Qatar Stars League.
Olunga's role in Al Shamam win
The Al Duhail striker was drafted in the starting XI as he combined with Edmilson Junior and Nam Tae-hee to sink Al Shamal at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
Olunga scored a goal in each half of the thrilling encounter, with Junior and Nam also getting their names on the scoresheet.
The Harambee Stars skipper scored the opener in the 23rd minute before Nam doubled the advantage on the stroke of half-time.
He went on to make it 3-0 with another effort in the 54th minute, with Junior putting the game to bed seven minutes later.
However, Amjad Attwan earned Shamal a consolation in the closing stages of the encounter from the penalty spot.
Olunga tops the charts
Meanwhile, Olunga's stunning brace took his tally to 20 goals and currently tops the goalscorers charts.
Al-Sadd's Andre Ayew is his closest challenger for the Golden Boot award, with the Ghanaian having 12 goals to his name.
Baghdad Bounedjah has also scored 12 league goals to sit third ahead of Akram Afif and Ayman Hussain who have 11 each.

Dembele, on Tuesday, February 8, took to social media to reveal that he wanted to hang his boots when the Chinese Super League season came to an end.
The Belgian, 34, currently plays for Chinese outfit Guangzhou City, which he joined in 2019 after leaving Tottenham.
