Andre Ayew needed only 14 clock ticks to set a new record in the Qatari Stars League after climbing off the bench to score in Al Sadd's 6-0 thrashing of Al-Wakrah.
The Ghana captain becomes the first player in the history of the league to score just after coming off, with what was his first touch.
Ayew had replaced Algerian forward Baghdad Bounedjah in the 66th minute and within that same time connected from a freekick to make it 5-0.
"Al-Sadd's Andre Ayew scored FASTEST goal-ever for a (Substitute) in the history of #QSL .. Replacing Algeria's Bounedjah, the Black Stars legend needed only 15 seconds to find the net and scored a brilliant goal in his Qatari side's 6-0 victory over Al-Wakra," wrote a Qatari-based journalist.
The goal was his tenth of the season in 13 league games for the Qatari champions.
Ayew was also making his first appearance for the club since Ghana's early Africa Cup of Nations exit.
"Great team performance. We keep going," the 32-year-old wrote on Twitter after the game with photos of him and his teammates celebrating the victory.

Earlier, SportsBrief.com reported that Ghana captain Andre Ayew was on the scoresheet as Al-Sadd thrashed Al-Wakrah 6-0 in the Qatari Stars League on Monday.
Ayew climbed off the bench in the 66th minute to score his 10th league goal of the season with his first touch after his introduction.
The 32-year-old nodded home his side’s fifth goal of the match following a free-kick from the left side of the attack.
