FootballBrazilian club Flamengo who Pereira is currently turning out for on loan are believed to be the leading contenders for his services.
The 26-year-old is understood to have become an instrumental squad player in Paulo Sousa's team and the club are now eager to make his stay into a permanent transfer.
The United academy graduate has enjoyed a stellar spell with Flamengo and has already managed to score five goals in 24 appearances.
According to respected journalist Fred Caldeira, United have since accepted a £12m bid from the Sao Paulo-based club for the services of Pereira.
Meanwhile, Pereira joined the Man United academy back in 2011 as a teenager and managed to flourish through the ranks.
He eventually managed to break into the senior team and has since recorded 75 appearances for them.
However, he has not featured for the Manchester side since a 3-0 away win at Brighton in June 2020.
