Son of Paris Saint-Germain and Senegal star, Idrissa 'Gana' Gueye, is relishing his father's latest achievement following the Teranga Lions' AFCON triumph.

Idrissa Gueye started and played the entire duration of the final against Egypt, as Senegal won on penalties to secure their first ever AFCON title.

With the celebrations continuing in Dakar, Gueye's son seized the moment as he was spotted wearing his father's medal in delight.

A photo posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, showed the excitement on the face on the young Gueye.

Aliou Cisse's side lifted their first major tournament trophy by beating Egypt on penalties in the final at the Olembe stadium in Cameroon on Sunday.

Mane scored the all important penalty to help the Teranga Lions defeat Egypt 4-2 during shootouts after the game ended on stalemate after extra time.
