Primate Ayodele, who is the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, had prophesied before the AFCON 2021 final that should Senegal fail to score within 78 minutes, Egypt will be crowned champions.
A video had also circulated on social media showing another Kenyan pastor claiming that ‘he saw’ an Arab country win the coveted African football prize in Cameroon.
On his part, Primate Ayodele emphasised that the Lord ‘revealed’ to him that the only condition for Senegal to beat Egypt is if they score before the 78th minute.

FootballHe added that should the encounter stretch into a penalty shootout, the Pharaohs of Egypt will carry the day.
Ayodele said as per Best Choice Sports:
“Senegal/Egypt today, honestly speaking, without mincing word, if they play in tactical ways, if Senegal works very well, they don’t go to a penalty but if they go to penalty with Egypt, final.
“If they put themselves in order, 78 minutes, it is a win for Senegal. If they allow Egypt to overlap, then they will give it to Egypt. That is what the Lord says.
“78 minute is for Senegal, the moment Egyptians work around it, it may not go their way.
However, none of the prophecies came to pass as the Teranga Lions won the encounter after penalty shootout after the match ended goalless.
Meanwhile, Egypt goalkeeper Mohamed Abou Gabal seems to have forgotten that his water bottle contained penalty information of all Senegal players as he left it on the pitch.
