English Championship club, Stoke City, have announced the signing of Super Eagles striker Josh Maja from French Ligue one club Bordeaux.
Josh Maja joins The Potters on loan until the end of the season after struggling to get game time with Bordeaux.
According to Brila, Maja becomes the fifth signing for Stoke City joining the likes of Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Phil Jagielka, Lewis Baker, and Jaden Philogene-Bidace.
The 23-year-old returns to England where his career started with Sunderland where he scored 16 goals in 41 league appearances.
Maja whose transfer to Stoke City is still subject to international clearance was also part of the Fulham team that got relegated from the Premier League last season.
The Super Eagles striker joined Bordeaux in January 2019 and scored 12 goals in 52 appearances for the Ligue one club.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon’s dream to play in the English Premier League was scuppered due to his French club high transfer fee demands.
According to Punch, Moses Simon’s deadline day move to Premier League club Leeds United fell through because of Nantes £8m demand for the Nigerian winger.
Moses had been a standout performer for the Super Eagles at the African Cup of Nations with his performance thought to have attracted the English premier club.
