Arsenal are ready to release a mega war chest to back manager Mikel Arteta in the summer transfer window as the Gunners aim to strengthen its squad ahead of next season.

The Gunners witnessed the sales of top players in the January window with players such as Calum Chambers, Sead Kolasinac and Aubameyang ended up leaving on a permanent basis.

According to reports via Mirror and The Express, Arsenal are now reportedly eyeing another summer of spending as Mikel Arteta is set to be handed a £180million transfer war chest.

The London club has a thin squad currently and stand a chance to lose more players in the summer as Alexandre Lacazette, Mohamed Elneny and Eddie Nketiah all have their deals expiring at the end of the season.

Priority for Arteta will be to bring in quality players especially in the striking position to replace former captain Aubameyang who joined Barcelona on transfer deadline day.

Arsenal target three top signings ahead of summer transfers

Arsenal are reportedly targeting three major summer signings to boost the Gunners squad after losing several key players in the January transfer window.

According to Daily Mail, the London club is lining up bids for strikers Alexander Isak, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and midfielder Ruben Neves as potential future targets.

Last summer, Arteta spent a total sum of £150m on Ben White, Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares.
