  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has completed his move to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona after leaving Arsenal
  • His former teammates at Arsenal Mesut Ozil has wished him success for his stay in the Spanish La Liga
  • Mesut Ozil is now expected to be a perfect replacement for Argentine striker Sergio Aguero who retired due to health issue

Mesut Ozil has wished Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang good-luck in his career following his move to Spanish giants Barcelona from Premier League side Arsenal on deadline day.

The Gabonese striker had issues with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and was snubbed in the first team before he went to Cameroon with his country for the 2021 African Cup of Nations.

And at the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Gabon failed to perform well as they crashed out in the group stage before Aubameyang returned to England.

But when the former Borussia Dortmund striker returned to England, he did not return to the Emirates before his departure to Barcelona.

According to the report on UK Sun and Mirror, Mesut Ozil sent Aubameyang a message after the forward published a farewell note to Gunners fans.

Ozil simply wrote: “All the best bro.”

What is Barcelona's position on the La Liga table?

Barcelona have played 21 games so far this season in the Spanish La Liga and the Catalan giants have recorded 35 points.

Tension as Barcelona chiefs prepare to cancel contract of top superstar as big reason emerges

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Barcelona chiefs are considering terminating the contract of Frenchman Ousmane Dembele following his refusal to accept transfer offers from clubs in the transfer window.

The France international was seriously linked with an exit at Barcelona before the transfer window was closed, but despite all the deals brought on the table, Dembele rejected them.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal were also said to be interested in signing Ousmane Dembele, but there was not move for the former Dortmund forward.

Some eggheads at Barcelona are not happy with Ousmane Dembele and they feel allowing him to leave will be a good decision.

Ousmane Dembele left Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for a move to Barcelona where he has featured in 87 games so far netting 18 goals.
