Portugal Legend Hails Quality of New Liverpool Target Luis Diaz, Says Colombian Is the Right Fit for Anfield

Portugal legend Pepe has hailed the capture of fellow Porto teammate Luiz Diaz by Liverpool as he says the Anfield club is getting a player who’s not just passionate but professional too.
Pepe plays alongside Luiz Diaz for the current FC Porto team with the Colombian rated amongst the top five talents playing in the Portuguese league.

These qualities have attracted several premier league clubs and Liverpool look set to capture the deal with the Reds confident a deal will be reached with the Colombian in the coming days.
According to a report via The Mirror, Pepe who formally played for Real Madrid, now says Liverpool are getting a player that values the importance of putting on the colors of a club’s jersey.
"Luis Díaz is the example of the professionalism and passion we have in playing for FC Porto, we know of the importance of wearing this shirt, and I am proud to share the locker room with Luis Díaz and others."

Meanwhile Porto coach Sergio Conceicao is not happy with the Porto board after they agreed to a deal to let Luis Diaz leave and join Liverpool.
Porto currently tops the Portuguese Primera Liga with six points ahead of second placed Sporting Lisbon and a further nine points above Benfica in third.
Football365 reports that Sergio Conceicao is furious with the Porto hierarchy for allowing one of his best players leave in mid-season.
Liverpool Target Luis Diaz Ready to Arrive Anfield
Earlier Sports Brief reported Liverpool are on the verge of signing FC Porto playmaker Luis Diaz for £37.5million as the Reds aim to fortify their midfield as they continue their push to challenge for the Premier League title.
The Merseyside club seem to have overtaken fellow premier league rivals Tottenham as reports now suggest Diaz would favour a move to Liverpool as opposed to moving to London.
Spurs manager Antonio Conte had been confident that the 25-year-old would join Tottenham, but talks between the two parties stalled during the week, allowing Liverpool to hijack the deal.
