Marcus Rashford has sent Anthony Martial a message of goodwill after the Frenchman completed a stunning loan switch to Sevilla.
It was confirmed on Tuesday evening, January 25, that Martial had sealed a move to the La Liga side where he will spend the rest of the 2021-22 campaign.
Metro UK reports Martial completed his medical in Andalusia after Manchester United and Sevilla agreed terms for his loan deal.
The Frenchman opted to depart Old Trafford following a difficult spell this term that saw him drop in the pecking order.
His most recent appearance in a United shirt was at the weekend when he came off the bench to feature in his side's 1-0 hard-fought win over West Ham.
Following his departure, Rashford has taken the time to send him a message of support.
"Good luck my brother," the Englishman simply commented in a tweet by Man United announcing Martial's exit.
Martial joined the Red Devils from Monaco back in 2015 and has since made 269 appearances for the red side of Manchester.
During the period, he scored 79 goals and helped the club win the FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Europa League.
He will now be hoping to rediscover his spark at Sevilla as he fights to regain his spot as one of the finest forwards in Europe.
