Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has made it clear that the result him and his teammates got against Tunisia at the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations was not the one they wanted.
To the surprise of many Nigerian football fans, the Super Eagles who have been rated to win the title in Cameroon were beaten 1-0 by Tunisia in the round of 16 on Sunday, January 23.
Before the Super Eagle crashed out of the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Moses Simon produced superb performances in Nigeria's first three games against Egypt, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.
However, his wing was clipped against Tunisia in the round of 16 as the Tunisian players had a superb game plan for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
What exactly is Moses Simon's message?
According to what the 26-year-old winger posted on his official social media page, he explained that the Super Eagles will come back stronger in subsequent matches.

''We had the support of our passionate fans and stepped on the pitch to defend our nation with all our hearts. Sadly, it did not end the way we wanted.

And while the Tunisian players were working into the dressing room, they were spotted singing and dancing to Bracket's music titled Mama Africa.
Youssef Msakni who plays as a winger or forward for Al Arabi on loan from Al-Duhail scored the only goal of the match in the 47th minute beating Super Eagles goalie Maduka Okoye nicely.
