Former Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan, will be returning to action sooner than later, after disclosing he has not retired from football.
The 36-year-old has not played for almost a year, but insists he has a lot to offer before he decides to hand his boots.
The SuperSport AFCON specialist analyst said he feels young and the mind has not given up on football yet.
"I haven't retired yet. If I need to play, I have to shed some weight and be active before [that], and train week in week out and I will be good,” he said, as quoted by Ghanaweb.

Football"Body-wise, I still feel young at heart, I've still got a lot to offer. The mind is there, everything is alright, but physically I don't think I am ready for now. I need to work on my body."
Asamoah Gyan last played competitively in the Ghana Premier League with local side Legon Cities.
He left the club after his one year contract expired and has since not announced his next move.
However, having missed out on the Africa Cup of Nations squad, Gyan works as a pundit with South Africa's Super Sport TV channel.
He remains Ghana's all time leading scorer with 51 goals from 109 appearances for the Black Stars.
