Sierra Leone’s veteran striker Kei Kamara has spoken up in the wake of a heartbreaking exit from the Africa Cup of Nations, saying he “has no regrets”.
Kamara missed a late penalty on Thursday, January 20 to dent Sierra Leone’s chances of reaching the next round of the competition as Equatorial Guinea claimed a 1-0 victory to finish second in Group E.
Pablo Ganet's 38th-minute strike was enough to ensure victory for Equitoria Guinea but for Sierra Leone, they will be left wondering “What if”, as they would have gone through as the best third-placed finishers had they forced a draw.
