History
The Atlas Lions debuted in the soccer scene in 1928 when they played a friendly match against France. The team has since participated in various tournaments and main competitions, winning several Medals and Cups.
In 1966, they joined the Confederation of African Football and participated in the competitions organized by the CAF. In fact, the Atlas Lions have participated in various Africa Cup of Nations competitions and even came out as champions of 1976 AFCON and in the African Nations Championship in 2018 and 2020.
