Coach of the Sudanese national team, Burhan Tia, has admitted that their Africa Cup of Nations clash with Nigeria will be a pretty difficult game.
The tactician saw his side play a 0-0 draw with Guinea-Bissau in their Group D opener and their next game will be against the Super Eagles on Saturday.
Nigeria defeated one of the tournament favourites Egypt at the Stade Roumde Adija, Garoua on Tuesday following a first half strike by Kelechi Iheanacho.
Augustine Eguavoen’s side dominated proceedings for most parts of the game as pundits are beginning to tip the three time champions for this year’s title.
Coach Burhan Tia has disclosed that it would be tough playing the Super Eagles, but his side are already prepared for the battle.
He told media after their draw with Guinea-Bissau via Complete Sports:
“It will not be easy, as well as facing Egypt, but these are matches that we have put in our minds and our program before the tournament.”
Nigeria top Group D with three points, while Sudan and Guinea-Bissau have one point each. Egypt are bottom of the group with zero point.
