Jose Mourinho who is the gaffer of Roma on Thursday night, January 6, intervened to stop his fans from attacking AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic verbally in Serie A encounter.
Things turned ugly in the stands in the 77th minute when Roma fans were ready to sing a racist song against Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but Jose Mourinho quickly calmed them down.
Mourinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have in the past enjoyed working relationships at Inter Milan as the player even helped the Portuguese to win the Europa League at Manchester United.
According to the report on Sportsbible, Roma made a statement condemning any form of action from the fans that can bring the game into disrepute.
Roma's statement
"We have zero tolerance for any form of racism. The club has been committed to combating racism and any form of discrimination for years. As an organization, we continue to do everything we can to change the behaviour of some fans in a positive way."

AC Milan won the match 3-1 with Olivier Giroud scoring the first goal via a penalty in the 8th minute before Junior Messias added the second in the 17th minute as Tammy Abraham pulled one back for Roma in the 40th minute.
Rafael Leao scored the third goal for AC Milan as they won the match 3-1.
