Heartwarming footage of Chelsea keeper as he saves young pitch invader from steward

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga turned out the hero for a Chelsea supporter as images show the Spanish goalkeeper saving a fan from stewards after the Blues Carabao Cup first leg victory against Tottenham at the Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea were 2-0 victors on the night against their North-London rivals thanks to goals from Kai Havertz and an unfortunate own goal by Spurs defender Ben Davies.

Chelsea now stand a good chance of making the final if they avoid a worse result in the return leg at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium next week Wednesday.

The victory prompted wild jubilations from the Stamford Bridge supporters who once against might be celebrating another title under German manager Thomas Tuchel after their Champions League victory last season.

Kepa was instrumental in securing the win for Chelsea on the night as he pushed away Tottenham’s only two shots on target from Harry Kane and Giovani Lo Celso in the second half which prompted a young fan eagerly keen to congratulate him after the final whistle.
