Tuchel consequently dropped the player from the matchday squad that played a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League on January 2.

And fans have spotted something weird on the player’s official Facebook profile.

Channels TV reports that while the Belgian's header and cover photo have him in Chelsea colours, his bio simply reads, "Inter Milan".

What did Lukaku say in the interview?

The Belgian who returned to Chelsea during the summer said:

"I really, genuinely from the bottom of my heart hope to come back to Inter, not at the end of my career, but while I am still at the level to win more trophies."

The former Everton and Manchester United man returned headed back to West London in a club-record £97.5 million move off the back of firing Inter Milan to a first Scudetto in 11 years.

Chelsea 2-2 Liverpool

It was an extra-ordinary first-half of football as Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead after poor defending by Chelsea.

The Blues roared back late in the half and a wonderful volley from Kovacic and a neat finish from Pulisic to level the scores at the break as there were no goals in the second half.

Inter fans reply Lukaku

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that Inter Milan fans seem to have sent a message to Romelu Lukaku following the Beligan’s apology over how he exited the San Siro in the summer.

Despite his kind words towards the Serie A and Inter Milan, damage seems to already have been done as Inter Milan’s ultras issued what looked like a brutal rejoinder to the Belgian’s sentiments.

The fans appeared unimpressed by Lukaku’s apology and they took to make it clear through a banner outside the San Siro.
