FootballHard-fighting Chelsea come from behind to draw level with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool was explosive right from the first blast of the whistle as both sides took the game to each other. In the first minute, Liverpool made a counter-attack and Mane slid the ball across for Salah.
Fortunately for Chelsea, Rudiger was there to clear the ball into the path of Mendy, who saved. It was an extra-ordinary first-half of football as Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead after poor defending by Chelsea.
The Senegalese opened the scoring in the 9th minute when Trevoh Chalobah made an uncharacteristic mistake before the player went round the goalkeeper before slotting home. In the 26th minute, Mohamed Salah found the back of the net.
