Sainz finally captured his maiden Formula 1 win at the 2022 British Grand Prix, with the Spanish driver accomplishing the feat in his 150th race start.

He pulled away from the pack after that overtake, taking the chequered flag for the first time in Formula 1 by 3.7 seconds ahead of Red Bull's Sergio Perez, per Eurosport.
Sainz was ecstatic after the victory, calling it one of the happiest days of his life.
