A win at the Dutch Grand Prix later this month would see Verstappen match the record for consecutive race wins, which was set by Sebastian Vettel in the 2013 F1 season.

Vettel started his nine-race winning streak with a commanding victory at the Belgian Grand Prix.
The German driver stamped his class in the 44-lap race, beating Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso by 16.869 seconds to record his fifth race win of the year, per Bleacher Report.
He continued his winning ways in the Italian Grand Prix. He started in pole position at Monza and won by 5.467 seconds over Alonso.
Vettel extended his winning streak to three races with a victory at the Singapore Grand Prix. He started from pole position and cruised to an easy victory, winning the race by 32.627 seconds over Alonso.
He stretched his unbeaten run to four races with a win at the Korean Grand Prix. Vettel won the final F1 race in South Korea by 4.224 seconds over Lotus’ Kimi Raikkonen.
Vettel had some work to do in the Japanese Grand Prix, with Romain Grosjean leading until the pit stops in that race.
Careful tyre management helped Vettel pass Grosjean during the second phase of the race as he recorded his fifth consecutive win.
He clinched the Drivers’ Championship in the Indian Grand Prix after he recorded his sixth straight victory. Vettel was never troubled in the 60-lap race, beating Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg by 29.823 seconds.
