British-Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua, has predicted the winner of the bout between Tyson Fury and Ukrainian heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk.

The two boxing heavyweight champions will fight each other on Saturday, May 18, in Saudi Arabia.

The bout was supposed to have taken place before, but due to Fury's injury in his training camp led to the fight being postponed.

Both fighters will forfeit their titles for the bout. Usyk will forfeit his WBA, WBO, and IBF belts, while Fury must defend his WBC title.

In an interview with TalkSport, as per The Punch NG, Joshua tipped Usyk to defeat Fury in Saudi Arabia.

"I have fought Usyk, so I can only speak on what I have experienced with him—a phenomenal fighter. I would say he's going to do a really good job," he said.

The former heavyweight champion also disclosed why he tipped the Ukrainian boxer to defeat Fury.

"I have never fought Fury, so I cannot speak about what it's like to face him. Only speaking on what I know, I have to say Usyk will be victorious," he added.

Joshua is a testament to Usyk's prowess, as he lost to the Ukrainian fighter twice. In his next fight, he could face the winner of the bout.

The British boxer was impressive in his last fight against former MMA Champion Francis Ngannou.

Anthony Joshua returns to training

Sports Brief also reported that two-time heavyweight champion Joshua has returned to training ahead of his possible fight with the winner of the Fury vs Usyk showdown.

The Nigerian-British boxer was spotted with coach Ben Davidson, who is also a former boxing champion.

Joshua posted a picture of himself on the pads at Davison's Harlow gym. His sparring partner, Jeamie Tshikeva, predicted that AJ will become a world champion for the third time.
