Audio released from the woman’s 9-1-1 call from December 27 heightened the backlash against Davis after the woman was heard yelling, “he’s going to kill me” during the call.

Authorities from the Broward County Sheriff's Office arrested Davis, but the woman later recanted her claims that the boxer had assaulted her at home.

And now Marca reports that those charges have now been dismissed, and the 28-year-old boxer will be able to focus on his boxing career again.

Per the Spanish news outlet, the woman who accused Davis of assaulting her at his Parkland, Florida, home did not want to pursue the case.
