He made his Mexican opponent pay for his momentary lapse in concentration, connecting with a crunching left-hand uppercut that left Sanchez in a crumpled heap.

Jose Pedraza (January 14, 2017)

Davis delivered the wow factor in his fight against Pedraza. The shocking moment came in the seventh round when Davis unleashed a mighty right hook on Pedraza’s head.

The perfect punch floored Pedraza, who nearly went outside the ring. The referee waved off the fight after he failed to beat the count.

Yuriorkis Gamboa (December 28, 2019)

Davis dominated Gamboa in this fight, recording knockdowns in the second, eighth, and twelfth rounds.

He finally found a way to stop his veteran opponent in the last round, taking full advantage of Gamboa’s inability to move around the ring.

Davis immediately went toe to toe with the Cuban fighter in Round 12, with both boxers exchanging combinations.

The Baltimore native got the better of the exchanges after landing solid uppercuts on Gamboa.

Davis finished Gamboa with a crunching left hook, with the referee stopping the contest as soon as the latter dropped on the canvas.

Leo Santa Cruz (October 31, 2020)

Davis faced his toughest test yet when he fought former world champion Leo Santa Cruz. Davis got off to a slow start in their lightweight bout, with Santa Cruz outworking him in the early rounds.

It wasn’t long, though, before Davis started controlling the fight. Once he found his range, there was no stopping him.

Davis sent the fans into a frenzy in the sixth round when he delivered a stunning knockout. After backing Santa Cruz into the corner, Davis uncorked one of the sweetest uppercuts ever.

The monster punch knocked the Mexican fighter out cold, handing Davis one of the greatest wins of his boxing career.

Rolando Romero (May 28, 2022)

Davis looked in danger of losing his unbeaten record against Romero, who utilized his reach advantage in the first six rounds.

Davis only needed one punch to turn his fortunes around, which happened in the sixth round. Tank saw an opening after Romero launched an attack, firing a devastating left-hand counter, per BBC.

Romero was sent falling against the ropes before dropping on the canvas. He tried to get up but couldn’t beat the count, giving Davis another impressive knockout win.

Garcia's greatest knockouts

Sports Brief recently reported on Garcia’s top 5 greatest knockouts.

There were plenty to choose from, with Garcia recording 19 knockout wins in his career.

His knockout victories over Edgar Meza, Fernando Vargas, Romero Duno, Francisco Fonseca, and Luke Campbell made the list.
