"Tyson Fury and I have been warming up on social media for more than two years. Obviously, we all need this fight. It’s been long enough. Hopefully, we have the possibility of dotting the i’s," the former UFC champion said.
Fury's brazen call-out
The Cameroonian's comments about a possible fight with the British boxer come on the back of Fury's latest call-out.
The Gypsy King proposed a cage fight against Ngannou, with Mike Tyson as a guest referee.
Is Ngannou making a mistake?
Fans love the idea of a fight between the two men, but don't think Ngannou stands a chance under Fury's current terms.
Some think the former UFC star is making a mistake, while others believe the paycheck will make up for it.
@Dan3HitU:
"With Mike Tyson’s name on the card as well, that's 50 million plus for Ngannou and 80 million plus for Fury."
@____carson___:
"Everyone saying Ngannou is making a mistake is incredibly senseless. Homies going to make more money in one night than most people make in their entire lives, and with no real repercussions. If he loses so what? Literally means nothing, it’s expected. I’m so happy for him."

Football@AquaticZERO:
"I’m an MMA fan first but I don’t see any MMA fighter being able to keep up the cardio pace against a pro boxer. We even saw it with @TheNotoriousMMA."
@UTDTreyyyy:
"Ngannou making a huge mistake here but the money will be worth it."
@lou380:
"That I would see. Easy money for Tyson tho. But hope Francis makes in that one fight retirement money."

Calls made for Ngannou/Fury fight
Sports Brief also reported on what the future might hold for the Cameroonian, after he was released by the UFC earlier this month.
The Predator might be a free agent at the moment, but don't expect it to last. Many want Ngannou to fight Tyson Fury in the boxing ring.
Fans and fighters believe the time is ripe for the Cameroonian to get into it with the Gypsy King, which would surely be a blockbuster.
