  • Anthony Joshua seemed to lose his head shortly after he was defeated again by sensational Oleksandr Usyk
  • Joshua was outclassed in his rematch against the Ukrainian, who retained his belts on Saturday night
  • After the bout, Joshua claimed he was not an amateur as he made some bizarre remarks

Anthony Joshua lost his second consecutive fight to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night, August 20, in Saudi Arabia.

Moments after the Ukrainian was announced the winner by split decision, Joshua stunned boxing fans as with his antics as it seemed he lost his head.

The British boxer improved his performance, far from what he exhibited when he first lost his belts to Usyk last September.

"Usyk is one hell of a f***ing fighter, let's give him a round of applause.
"Sorry guys, look, if you knew my story you'd understand the passion.
"I ain't no amateur boxer from youth, I was looking at jail.
"I'm stealing this Usyk, I'm sorry but it's because of the f***ing passion.
"I'm not a 12 round fighter, I'm a new breed of heavyweight, Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston - they say 'he doesn't throw combinations like Rocky Marciano,' because I'm not f***ing 14-stone."

British prospect Frazer Clarke, Olympic bronze medalist and a friend of Joshua, apologised on AJ's behalf during Sky Sports' post-match comments.

Mike Tyson spotted on wheelchair

Sports Brief earlier reported that American boxing icon Mike Tyson was pushed in a wheelchair as he posed for photos with fans at the Miami International Airport on Tuesday, August 16.

The 56-year-old was making his way through the airport but still made time for his devoted fans as he received assistance.

The former heavyweight boxer is suffering from "sciatica flare-up" in his lower back, which is reported to be an old issue.
