Noah Lyles has gifted his girlfriend a new car as beautiful signs of their relationship going from strength to strength continue to emerge.

Lyles had a record-breaking 2023 campaign, winning every gold medal available at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest.

His three gold medals earned him recognition as one of the World Athletics Male Athletes of the Year. He attended the ceremony in Monaco with his girlfriend.

In a video shared by Bromfield, she heartily thanked Lyles for the gesture despite paperwork frustration.

"First car. Paper work took so long that my excitement ran out. Thank you, baby."

Who is Junelle Bromfield?

Like Lyles, Bromfield is a professional athlete who has represented Jamaica at international sports events. She was part of the team that won a bronze medal at the 4x400m relay at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and a silver medal at the 2022 World Athletics Championships held in Oregon, USA.

The 26-year-old was friends with the American sprinter for six years before they started dating in 2022.

Paris Olympics 2024

Lyles and Jackson will pursue their first Olympic gold medals at the Summer Olympics in France later this year. The former has already declared his desire to win four gold medals at the games. Jackson will be out to right the wrongs of Tokyo, where she failed to qualify for the 200m final.

Last year, Sports Brief reported that Lyles and Bromfield took a vacation at the Moon Palace in Jamaica in the Ocho Rios neighbourhood.

The two were joined by fellow athlete Shericka Jackson. Like Lyles, Jackson is the person to beat in the 200m discipline. She is the second-fastest woman of all time in the discipline, coming desperately close to breaking Flo-Jo's records.
