Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is widely considered one of the greatest ever sprinters, so when she took part in a race at her son’s sports day, no one else stood a chance.

The 36-year-old blew through a competition of mothers in a friendly sports-day race at her 5-year-old son Zyon’s school.

In a video shared on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the Jamaican track and field star left her fellow parents in the dust to thunderous applause from onlookers.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce ran through the competition with a rather unbelievable pace, completing the short 100-meter dash before many of the other competitors even reached the halfway point.

Fraser-Pryce gave birth to her son Zyon in 2017.

Who is Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has more than 15 years of experience and three Olympic gold medals, including consecutive 100-meter victories in Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

She has also won an astounding 10 global championships in the 100, 200, and 4x100-meter relay events, per Givemesports.

The Jamaican icon is presently vying with fellow countrywoman Elaine Thompson-Herah to break Florence Griffith Joyner's 100-meter world record and break the record for the fastest woman ever.

She is also preparing to compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Fraser-Pryce's last five races have been in Oregon, Zurich, Monaco, Chorzow and Paris where she managed to come out on top in all of them.

She has also recorded times such as 10.67, 10.65, 10.62, 10.66 and 10.67 which are the fastest times by a woman sprinter in 2022. Her consistency also edges her above the other athletes on this list.
