Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan has been gifted the sum of five million naira and a house by Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State who was impressed with her performances.

The year 2022 has so far been an incredible one for Amusan who emerged as world's champion in significant fashions and made all Nigerians proud.

Amusan started by winning the 100 meter hurdle at the World Athletics Championship in Oregon setting a big record at the tournament before heading to England for the Commonwealth games.

And at the Commonwealth games in Birmingham, Tobi Amusan was also superb as she won gold for Nigeria in the 100 meter.

According to a post by Nigerian Journalist Bayo Adegboyega who was at the Government House on Tuesday afternoon, 4 October, Governor Dapo Abiodun was happy to host Tobi.
