In a BBC1 documentary, the legendary runner disclosed the truth about his life and admitted he has been living under a false identity.
“There’s something about me you don’t know. It’s a secret that I’ve been hiding since I was a child," Mo Farah said as quoted by The Sun.

“I’ve been keeping it for so long, it’s been difficult because you don’t want to face it. Often my kids ask questions — ‘Dad, how come this?’ And you’ve always got an answer for everything, but you haven’t got an answer for that.
“That’s the main reason in telling my story because I want to feel normal and not feel like you’re holding on to something."
Mo Farah in the documentary revealed he was smuggled to the UK as a servant by a mystery woman and his father, who he claimed was born and raised in England before returning to Somalia to marry his mother, was actually killed in the civil war.
The 39-year-old also disclosed Mo Farah was an adopted name and his real name was Hussein Abdi Kahin.
