All five goals were scored by four different goalscorers as Mikel Arteta's charges secured a comfortable win away from home.

The north Londoners were looking to build on their newfound momentum during the Boxing Day trip to the Canaries.

The visitors got things off a flying start as Bukayo Saka netted the opener inside six minutes of action.

Kieran Tierney doubled the advantage a minute before the break after being set up brilliantly by Martin Odegaard.

The second half of the match saw Arsenal pick from where they left, with Saka completing his brace of the evening in the 67th minute to make it 3-0.

Alexander Lacazette joined the goal fest in the 84th minute before Emile Smith Rowe capped the win at the death with a stunning finish.

The win was enough to cement the Gunners' top-four place, with the side now three points off third-placed Chelsea.

Norwich, meanwhile, remain bottom of the log with just 10 points after 18 rounds of matches.

Man City stretch lead at the top

Earlier, Sports Brief Man City extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to six points after beating Leicester City 6-3 win at Etihad Stadium on Boxing Day, Sunday, December 26.

Pep Guardiola's men got the job done in the first half after a sensational opening burst brought four goals in the first 25 minutes as Leicester City were left bedraggled.

The rout started after five minutes when Leicester City were caught napping as Fernandinho picked out Kevin De Bruyne will a long ball.

The Belgian produced a sharp turn before rifling the ball with his left foot in the top corner.
