Finidi George's spell as Nigeria's head coach is officially underway following his unveiling on Monday, May 13.
He has officially taken over from Jose Peseiro, who left the role a few months ago when his deal expired.
Former Super Eagles international, Alloy Agu, has since offered his advice to the former Real Betis forward ahead of next month's matches.
Finidi is taking over a team he knows too well. He was part of Jose Peseiro's backroom staff for 22 months.

They took the Super Eagles to the 2023 AFCON final but suffered a heartbreaking defeat to hosts, Ivory Coast.
The 1994 AFCON winner led the team as interim coach in the Match international break, winning one and losing one.
Agu has urged Finidi to keep the team that played at the 2023 AFCON, and if he makes changes, they have to be minimal, per Complete Sports.
"Finidi has been part of the team, and it’s a good thing that he has been appointed as the Super Eagles head coach for continuity's sake," he said.
"However, he must also ensure that he continues with the players on ground and look for other areas that need to be amended because he has been part and parcel of the team."
Nigeria faces South Africa and the Benin Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers next month.
