Inter Miami eases past LAFC

Inter Miami remained unbeaten since Messi joined the club last July, recording an impressive 3-1 victory over LAFC.

Facundo Farias opened the scoring for the Herons, connecting on a sliding kick from the right side in the 14th minute after a gorgeous pass from Tomás Avilés.

Jordi Alba then doubled Inter Miami's lead in the 51st minute after a beautiful link-up play with Messi and Sergio Busquets, per USA Today.

Busquets started the sequence with a pass to Messi, who calmly collected the ball in the middle of the pitch.

Leonardo Campana made it 3-0 for Inter Miami in the 83rd minute before Ryan Hollingshead scored a consolation goal for the hosts in the 90th minute.
