Man United's farewell to Ronaldo

Exactly a month after Ronaldo's exit, Man United have sent Ronaldo another farewell message.

Daily Mail reported that United printed out a cold 81-word farewell to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in the matchday programme for the Burnley clash but there was no mention of the star forward in Ten Hag's notes.

"Cristiano Ronaldo left the club by mutual agreement last month," the message read.
'The Portuguese superstar scored 145 goals across two spells and 436 appearances, and helped us win three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, two League Cups, the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Ronaldo was also crowned Ballon d'Or winner in 2008.
"In a statement on November 22, the club put on record its gratitude for Cristiano's immense contribution and wished him and his family well for the future," the statement concluded.

Bayern Munich voted against signing Cristiano

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Bayern Munich’s Sporting Director, Hasan Salihamidžić, has explained why the club didn’t try to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese superstar was linked with a move to the Bundesliga champions when he first announced that he wanted to leave Manchester United in the current transfer window.

Salihamidžić explained that signing Ronaldo was discussed but that the club's board voted against the decision.
