Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has congratulated David Silva for beating Manchester United.
Silva was part of Real Sociedad's squad which stunned the Red Devils 1-0 at Old Trafford in the Europa League.
According to Metro UK, this was the Spaniard's 21st game against United, who he has now beaten 10 times.
Nine of the 10 wins came during the attacking midfielder's time at City where he spent a decade between 2010 and 2020.

The Real Sociedad side is understood to have visited Man City's training ground after their win over United.
The visit presented Silva a golden chance to revisit his former club where he reunited with Guardiola.

During Silva's visit, Guardiola is understood to have congratulated the 36-year-old for beating Man United.
In a video captured by ManCity.com, Pep is heard probing Silva about Real Sociedad's victory over the old Trafford dwellers.
"I wasn’t sure you were going to come by," Guardiola said upon embracing Silva.
"Winning at Old Trafford again? Winning at Old Trafford again?!" the City boss probed.
Silva responded:
"Yeah, another one."
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad will be hoping to continue with their fine run in the Europa League when they take on Omonia on Thursday, September 15.
