Erik ten Hag has left out four Man United players in his squad travelling to Sheriff Tiraspol for their second Europa League clash of the season.

United are scheduled to face Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday night, September 15, in a match they will be desperate to win after they lost their opener against Real Sociedad.

However, the Premier League side will have to do that without four of their players, who include Marcus Rashford.

According to Metro UK, Rashford will be staying at home alongside Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

It is understood that the four were not part of United's squad that trained at Carrington on Wednesday morning ahead of their trip to Moldova.

With the exception of the quartet, Ten Hag has an otherwise full-strength squad taking the Europa League trip.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is yet to hit the ground running is part of the travelling party alongside Luke Shaw, who has been struggling for game time.

Elsewhere, summer arrival Antony will be hoping to make his European bow for the Red Devils against Sheriff.

The Brazilian winger debuted for United against Arsenal in the Premier League, marking his bow with a goal.
