Man United interested in Leandro Paredes

However, the Red Devils seem to be exploring further additions as the summer transfer window takes shape.

French outlet L’Equipe reports the Old Trafford dwellers have since asked about a deal to sign Paredes from PSG.

But PSG's asking price of £29.6million for Paredes could possibly see the talks between the two parties collapse, with United unwilling to meet the valuation.

It is believed that United representatives abruptly walked away from talks after learning of PSG’s asking price, and it now remains unclear if they will return to the negotiating table.

The Red Devils' interest in the Argentine star comes at a time he has fallen down the pecking order at Parc des Princes.

The 28-year-old could only manage just 15 league starts for the French champions last season.

Erik ten Hag introduces tough rules for Man United players

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that new Man United boss Erik Ten Hag has introduced new tough rules in a bid to get the best out of his players.

The move is understood to be aimed at transforming the philosophy of the Red Devils as Ten Hag kicks off his Old Trafford reign.

Key among the regulations introduced include a ban on sideways and backwards passing.
