Manchester United have reportedly made an enquiry over the possible signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes.
United are shopping for new players this summer, with Erik ten Hag desperate to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.
According to Metro UK, the midfield has been identified as a key area which needs reinforcement after the exits of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
The publication adds that Ten Hag has made Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong his top transfer target this summer to bolster his midfield.

However, the Red Devils seem to be exploring further additions as the summer transfer window takes shape.
French outlet L’Equipe reports the Old Trafford dwellers have since asked about a deal to sign Paredes from PSG.
But PSG's asking price of £29.6million for Paredes could possibly see the talks between the two parties collapse, with United unwilling to meet the valuation.
It is believed that United representatives abruptly walked away from talks after learning of PSG’s asking price, and it now remains unclear if they will return to the negotiating table.
The Red Devils' interest in the Argentine star comes at a time he has fallen down the pecking order at Parc des Princes.
The 28-year-old could only manage just 15 league starts for the French champions last season.
