The 33-year-old now looks set to complete a summer move to the Premier League with Chelsea.

Italian outlet Sport Mediaset via FCInter1908 claims that a deal that could see Perisic join the Blues has already been reached, with only a medical and the final formalities of the agreement left.

“There is a rumour in the last few hours: Perisic has a practically already formalised agreement with Chelsea," Daily Star quoted journalist Sandro Sabatini.

Tuchel confirms Andreas Christensen is leaving Chelsea

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed Andreas Christensen will be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Denmark international has widely been linked with a potential exit at the end of the season, with Barcelona understood to be in a pole position to land his services.

The Sun reports the Blues had offered him a new contract but the uncertainty over the ownership of the club left the defender with no choice but to leave.

Tuchel has now come out to reveal Chelsea stand no chance of keeping Christensen beyond the ongoing season.
