With the scores tied, the 24-year-old goalkeeper scored an unbelievable strike from just outside his own penalty area to score a crucial goal for Modena.

In a viral video seen by Sports Brief, Gagno can be seen unleashing a stunning effort that went unchallenged before the ball bounced over Gian Maria Rossi who was in goal for Imolese and rolled into the back of the net.

Gagno boosts Modena's Serie B promotion hopes

The 91st-minute goal earned Modena a much-needed win as it boosted their Serie B promotion hopes.

Modena went into the match leading the standings with 81 points and were in desperate need of a victory against Imolese to cement their lead atop.

Attilio Tesser's men had taken a deserved lead in the 67th minute of the match before Imolese equalised in the 87th minute from the spot.

However, with the tie seemingly set for a draw, Gagno pulled a stunner to score his side's winner.

His goal sent the entire Stadio Braglia into a frenzy as the home side took a huge step towards earning a promotion to Italy's second-tier league.
