Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has split with his wife, Sissi, after 13 years of marriage.
The couple reportedly decided to call it quits after exhausting all avenues of rekindling their love.
According to The Sun, Tuchel and his wife started divorce proceedings later in March after attempts to keep the union together fell through.
Tuchel's wife moves to the UK
The publication further claims Tuchel's wife was only able to move to the UK last August, seven months after the Chelsea boss had been appointed to the role.
At the time, Tuchel is understood to have been living in a hotel near Chelsea's Cobham Training Centre before setting up a family home close by.
However, despite Sissi moving in with the German tactician, things have failed to work out between the pair, with reports suggesting Tuchel has been battling the fallout in his marriage at the same time Chelsea were undergoing a crisis.
Efforts to save Tuchel's marriage fails
Daily Mail reports efforts to save the 13-year marriage have failed, with a source divulging to the publication that the couple is now headed for a split.
“Sissi and Thomas have tried to avoid splitting but in the end, there was no other way," the source revealed.
“It is very sad and now it is all about making sure their daughters are the top priority. Papers were lodged last week to get the divorce underway," the source added.

The couple has two daughters together.
