Bukayo Saka enjoyed his time off at an NBA game in the United States, after helping Arsenal reach the UEFA Champions League quarter-final for the first time in 14 years.

The Gunners, who reached the last 8 for the first time since the 2009/10 season, beat Portuguese side, FC Porto, 4-2 on penalties after the 210 minutes on both legs ended in a 1-1 aggregate scoreline.

The North London side have continued their impressive run under Mikel Arteta as they compete on two fronts and will hope to avoid a repeat of last season when they bottled the Premier League title with three games to go.

Their appearance in the Champions League this season was their first in seven years, having yet to feature since their 10-2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich in the 2016/17 Round of 16.

Arteta gave the team a deserved rest after the intense encounter, and they will not be in league action this weekend after their London derby against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium was postponed due to the Blues’ involvement in the FA Cup quarter-final, per The Athletic.

Saka used his time off to fly to the United States and was in the front seats to watch the Boston Celtics beat the Phoenix Suns 127-112 at TD Garden to extend their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference.

As seen in a video shared on social media by the Celtics, Saka met number 7, Jaylen Brown, who had a game-high score of 37 points. They exchanged jerseys, and the shooting guard received Arsenal home and away shirts.

The Hale End graduate will link up with the England national team squad for the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium next week before a crucial title race tie against Manchester City at the end of the month.

Sports Brief previously reported on Saka gifting Wizkid an Arsenal jersey after linking up with the Grammy Award winner following the Gunners' 3-1 victory over Liverpool in February.

The academy graduate is of Nigerian descent and was in Africa last year following the team's Premier League late collapse, which saw Manchester City win their third consecutive title.
