- The company hosted a one-man show to celebrate his career
- Fans gifted him a unique gift presented in a coffin-like box
Fans serenaded the Undertaker during a recent event hosted by the WWE to recap and celebrate some of the greatest moments of his legendary career.
Mark William Callaway retired in 2020 after winning his final Wrestlemania match at Mania 36 against The Phenomenal One AJ Styles and was inducted into the Hall of Fame the following year.
Though not active in the ring, he occasionally attends WWE events and promotions as an ambassador and engages fans at events and public gatherings.
Per Essentially Sports, he attended a one-man show titled ‘Undertaker 1 deadMAN’ at Indianapolis Old National Centre, where he shared stories from his illustrious career.
Undertaker appreciates Indianapolis fans
The fans at the show gifted Callaway a unique gift: a handmade cardboard WWE belt with different art on it packaged in a coffin-themed gift box.
He took to social media to express his gratitude for the thoughtfulness behind the gift, which melted his heart.
“Thank you to the fans at Indianapolis for an awesome show last night, and a special shout-out to the fan that made this awesome gift. The passion and dedication from my fans, and the entire @WWE Universe, never ceases to amaze me,” he wrote on X.
In the video, he said:
“This is why the Undertaker fans are the best in the world.”
The Dead Man is yet to have a replacement in the company. Bray Wyatt was tipped to be the next face of fear but tragically passed away in August.
