The FIFA Women’s World Cup has kicked off, and football fever is gripping the planet.
While 32 teams are vying for the trophy in Australia and New Zealand, WWE’s superstars are proving they also have some fancy footwork.
The WWE recently took to social media to showcase how some superstars faired with a ball at their feet. Easily the most impressive were Rhea Ripley and Giovanni Vinci.
The Women's World Champion, kitted out in her Australia top, and the Imperium member in his Italian kit, showed they were quite skilled in doing taps with the ball.
Already a dominant force in the WWE, Mami proved that she could transition to football if she wanted. Her Australian team don’t need to call her up just yet, as they top Group B thanks to a 1-0 win over the Republic of Ireland, Goal reported.
WWE Women’s champion Asuka and Money in the Bank winner Io Sky repped Japan, but also don’t need to worry about taking up the sport. The women’s team looked comfortable as they beat Zambia 5-0, BBC reported.
Wearing her United States of America kit, Liv Morgan didn’t do too badly, but sadly the same can’t be said for Santos Escobar.
The Latino World Order member opted not to try anything with the ball and picked it up instead.
